Getting Better Through The Mind

The subconscious mind is the director of our life experience. It is the default and is whatโ€™s running the show when the conscious mind isnโ€™t engaged. The subconscious is running off of old programs that we often arenโ€™t even aware of, and from mostly inaccurate information that causes us to respond in undesirable ways. In other words, if we donโ€™t engage the conscious mind, weโ€™re on autopilot and feel victimized by the undesirable outcomes in our lives.

The subconscious will always follow whatโ€™s being focused on. Focus on a time when you feel loved, abundant or healthy.  Focus on just one and notice your feelings. Challenge your subconscious mind, what would it look like if I were (loved, abundant, healthy). The subconscious will respond with a corresponding feeling. When we focus on a particular state, the feeling will follow. Now, youโ€™ll have a seed planted for your desired reality. The plant that results from the seed has the same nature as the seed itself.   Water and care for the seed, give it the time and room for it to grow.

An emotion you practice constantly is what will dominate your life. Practicing the focused thoughts and emotions will create the things you desire in your life. Fleeting thoughts arenโ€™t as important as those you practice. When you notice your thoughts moving toward what you donโ€™t want, focus your attention on what you do want. Youโ€™re developing a new habit for the subconscious and it, in turn, will bring to you new behaviors and raise your vibrational energy to receive those things that you practice.

Focused thoughts and emotions turn into more powerful thoughts and emotions. Like attracts likeโ€ฆwhat you focus on is what you get. If you donโ€™t like the feeling of an emotion, itโ€™s up to you to change it. No one else is responsible for how you feel. If you have dominant-negative emotions and need to clear your focus, notice something mundane and insignificant to help clear the slate so you can move more into positive thoughts. Then you can ask yourself โ€œwhat ifโ€ฆโ€ questions. What if I was surrounded by people who love and support me.  What if I was already abundant, what would that look like?  What would it look like if I was a (chosen profession, type of person, etc.)?  These are easy questions that help the subconscious move into a softer state of feeling good without trying to force it, which just causes resistance.  The subconscious doesnโ€™t want to change, so the conscious mind has to be persistent in redirecting the thoughts. With continued practice, bit by bit, youโ€™ll see the subconscious accepting the new thoughts as reality and youโ€™ll see change.

Youโ€™re planting the seed of what you want by gently creating the feelings of the desired outcome.  The persistent practice of pulling the subconscious toward your goal with feelings, by clearing the mental slate and creating a positive focus on what you want, will move you toward that goal.
